Stephanie has been coming to our school for a number of years and the Transition Years always love the day. She works with groups of about 30 students for 2 hours and I am constantly amazed by how much they learn in such a short space of time. It is excellent value and it is a day that the students always recall with pleasure. Stephanie is very professional in her approach and we hope that she will continue to visit us for many years to come. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Stephanie for any year group.

I recently booked a Samba Workshop with Stephanie for three large groups of boys who were 11-12 years old. The workshops were amazing. Stephanie taught the large group of 40 students with great enthusiasm and skill. The students had such a great time and wished they could stay in the workshop longer! The workshop involved all students playing an instrument, learning basic rhythm techniques and she got them all up and moving! I would highly recommend Stephanie’s workshop and I am already in the process of booking her for an older age category. She was a pleasure to work with.

Samba Stef came to our school in January 2015 to do a drumming/percussion workshop with our pupils. We are a 2 teacher school and she was able to tailor the workshop to suit our needs and the needs of the children in the one session. The children were enthralled and totally immersed in the session and this was clearly evident from start to finish of the one and half hour workshop. All children, from infants to 6th were given and taught an instrument to play for the session. Stef also explained the origin and how to play each drum/instrument to the whole group.
The children were then put in groups based on their instrument and Stef guided and conducted them so that all children were playing a piece together as a group, even though each group had to play a different beat to the others. Parents were invited in to see and hear the final piece at the end of the session and they were totally surprised and amazed at what the children had achieved in such a short time.
Stef was a joy to work with, very accommodating and most importantly, had a great rapport with the children who gave her their full attention throughout the session.
I have no hesitation in recommending Samba Stef to any school
St Cecilia's Special School
All of the students in this school really enjoyed the samba drumming. After only 6 sessions we invited parents in to see the results. Stephanie adapted the classes to suit our three groups of students with varying special needs.
We learned very quickly how to stop and start together, play loudly and softly and show off our rhythmic ability. A really worthwhile project.

I'd just like to thank you for your most enjoyable workshop with the pupils of Kilmactranny N.S.
The children experienced a varied programme of activities during the workshop. They were introduced to a wide range of percussion instruments which included demonstrations of their playing techniques as well as being given a brief outline of their origin and what materials were used to make them. Each child had the opportunity to play some of the instruments, whilst learning about rhythm patterns and styles in a relaxed manner.
The hands-on workshop culminated in true crescendo form with a wonderful orchestral performance which was thoroughly enjoyed by all participants, teachers included!

We were all delighted - staff and pupils alike - with the Samba drumming experience provided by Stéphanie. Every child was able to participate and learned a lot in a short space of time. From Infants to 6th Class - we have all got rhythm!
Stéphanie was well prepared, had a variety of instruments for everybody and was able to get each child involved. We all had great fun and we have been left with a real "feel good" factor! Thanks Stéphanie!

Stephanie came to our school to help us celebrate the raising of our first Green Flag for Environmental Awareness.
Everyone was very excited and with the World Cup about to start we thought Samba Drumming would be the perfect way to celebrate.
We asked Stephanie to teach us some Samba drumming and put on a little show for the parents.
Stephanie did not disappoint!
The children were put into groups. The older children played the bigger base drums - and loved swinging the drum sticks in typical samba fashion. The younger children had shakers, boom sticks, agogo bells, tamborims and smaller drums, including the bongo. Everyone was shown how to play their instrument and Stephanie soon had them all in a good rhythm. Not an easy task!
The children were very enthusiastic. The teachers were very impressed!
After an hour and a half of practicing, the children performed for the parents. The parents were very surprised and delighted by the show.
It was a great day and thoroughly enjoyed by all. A perfect way to celebrate the raising of our First Green Flag.
We would highly recommend Samba Drumming for schools.

Stéphanie Pawula's 'Drumming Workshop' was a wonderfully inclusive, hands-on experience for all of our pupils. Informative, educational, exciting & joyful. Stéphanie is a passionate, gifted, inspirational & witty musician. She held our group of 22, Junior Infants through 5th Class, enthralled for 90 minutes. 'Now That's What I Call Music 2014'! -

Sooey School Band enjoyed an end of year percussion workshop with Stephanie where she introduced a large group of children to a range of drums and percussion instruments from around the world.
In just over an hour the group progressed from novices to a full percussion showcase on a variety of instruments, much to the delight of our audience of parents and teachers .
Stephanie opened up a world of rhythm and beat with patience and discipline which the children responded to with enthusiasm. A fantastic experience!
